The Fall and Revival of West Virginia Football
West Virginia found itself in the national title race in 2007 with their dreams of a spot in the national title game being dashed by their arch-rival Pittsburgh. Since that season, the Mountaineers have fought to become national title contenders again and because of those aspirations, it may have run their program into the ground. Now, led by head coach Neal Brown, West Virginia finally looks to be back on an upward trajectory heading into the 2024 season. Can they return to winning double-digit games in a season once again?
