North Fork of the Coeur d'Alene River | Panhandle National Forest, Idaho

While it seems like the snow is melting quickly, in the high country it is still sticking around. For this trip we opt'ed for a route that we have done portions of before. We would start out on trail #20 and hike in to Jordan Camp. From Jordan Camp we would take road #412 up on to the ridge. If we could find water up there we would camp up there. From there we would link up with road #3099 and then get on trail #309 which would take up back to the truck. The weather for the trip was supposed to be rainy to start out, but then better as the trip went on. This trip was filled with adventure as we ran into to snow once we got in to the higher elevations. ©MountainWanderer 2020. All rights reserved.
