La biblioteca più antica del mondo | Valeria Nicolis | TEDxCoriano
The Capitular Library of Verona, the oldest library still in operation in the world, with its millennia-old history and rich cultural heritage, teaches us the importance of understanding the past to build our future. Valeria Nicolis, born in 1992, grew up with her nose in books, and after studying classical and theological studies, she realized her dream of working in a wonderful and ancient library: the Capitular Library of Verona. She oversees the museum and outreach, including themed events and exhibitions, educational and social programs, guided tours, and workshops. She loves sharing the fascination of history and the secrets of manuscripts with groups of different backgrounds and generations, because the passion for knowledge knows no age or boundaries. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
