Sometimes we have a wonderful illustration, but we just want to adjust a certain part or parts of a single layer.  The Selection Tool in Procreate makes it easy to define that area.  It offers four different ways to make your selection:  Automatic, Freehand, Rectangle, and Ellipse.  You have even greater control with the option menu and can save your selection for later adjustments.   With the desired area selected, you can begin to fine tune your image without ever using a brush!  Whether you want to edit, lighten, darken, or recolor, you will be able to make your adjustments with ease.  Use the Hue, Saturation, Brightness to create subtle shadows and highlights, or even experiment with new colors and Blend Modes.  The more you learn about the easy possibilities with the Selection Tool, the sooner it will become one of your favorite Procreate tools.
