Car Wash Demolition (Part 3), Silver Spring

http://www.pedestrians.org Part 3. Demolition of the Montgomery Hills Car Wash on Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring, Maryland. The building is being demolished by the Maryland State Highway Administration to create a staging area for construction along Maryland Route 97. This was the site of the Mount Zion Methodist Episcopal Church & Cemetary from 1825 to 1964. Care is being taken in the demolition process so as not to disturb the ground underneath so that it can be examined afterwards for signs of any remaining graves.
