Whiskey, puffins, and a nightmare of swarms – the Isle of Mull reveals its full diversity to me today. First, I visit the traditional distillery in Tobermory before the evening light leads me back to the mysterious Glengorm Standing Stones. The next day, I set out to sea: to Staffa with the mighty Fingal's Cave and on to the island of Lunga – home to countless puffins, who prove themselves to be true masters of the skies.
