What began as a routine tourist flight quickly turned into a full-scale containment operation. After multiple passengers aboard two VTOL transport aircraft began exhibiting symptoms of an unidentified infectious illness, both aircraft were forced to ditch offshore. With the risk of exposure considered too high, autonomous seaplanes evacuated the affected passengers to an isolated quarantine facility without placing additional crews in danger. Now, with the abandoned VTOLs left drifting at sea and concerns over possible contamination growing, defense officials have authorized a final measure. Fly the C-130, deploy the new rolling bombs, and sink both aircraft before the threat can spread. Operation Containment is underway.
