JIMMY BUFFETT'S MONTANA PART 2 - RINGLING RINGLING & TOM MCGUANE'S RANCH
This is part 2 chronicling Jimmy Buffett's Montana (Yellowstone and Livingston area) years. Join me as we visit the town of Ringling and learn the inspiration for the song Ringling Ringling. While there we meet the postmaster/bartender Paula and visit the exact spot that Jimmy sat while writing his song. Then we travel to Tom McGuane's first Montana ranch. This was the ranch owned by Tom and Becky McGuane in the early 70s. Jimmy and Jane stayed there many nights and is the likely inspiration for the line from Come Monday "Remember that Night in Montana when we said there'd be no room for doubt". This ranch also was the guest home to the Montana Gang which included Mcguane, Buffett, Jim Harrison, Dink Bruce, Tom Corcoran, Russell Chatham, Richard Brautigan, and Bill Roecker. Also see why Miss You So Badly did not make the list although there is a Tuborg Beer seen! * Disclaimer - I do not own any of the commercial pictures or video-sound clips - all were taken from Google or from previous uploads to YouTube. - I do not make any monetary or other profit from these vlogs and make these as a tribute to Jimmy Buffett and for entertainment purposes only* Thank you for watching!
