It upgrades most of Samsung's 2012 Smart TVs to the new 2013 Smart TV. Bringing both the new interface, features and processing power thanks to the hardware upgrade of a quad core processor. Here you can see the installation, upgrade of the 2012 Samsung ES8000 series HDTV with the Samsung SEK-1000/ZA 2013 Evolution Kit. Update: We have been told that the Samsung Smart Evolution Kit does indeed improve image processing and handling through the new GPU.
