Soft storm is free verse by Abhi subedi.The poem illustrates speaker's dissatisfaction with the existing political,cultural and economic realities of his time.In the poem he dipicts his feelings of disagreement with activities of the contemporary society.Starting from the violent environment of the city, the speaker presents the realities prevailing around the heart of city.The speaker has empathetic nature towards homeless children but doesn't provide solutions to the problems.It was hard for him to endure this mad time/ hard time despite the chaos all around.The speaker appears as a rebel in society.He doesn't like the useless and cruel activities of society.In literary level,we find speaker attacking the mal practice of the contemporary Nepalese society.
