Small Town USA! Georgetown, Georgia and River Bluff Park - What's There? We'll Show You!

The town of Georgetown, Georgia seems to exist mostly on one street. If there's more to it, we missed it and that's possible. Old buildings line these streets and like most small towns some are open and some are not. The Post Office, County Courthouse, and old Jail are all located on this street. There was some confusion when I looked up the population as the immediate Google answer is 2290 while another answer showed 12,951. That's a pretty big discrepancy and leaves me confused. So I think it's small town USA, but maybe I'm wrong! We stopped at River Bluff Park to eat our lunch. The park area was closed so instead of sitting at a picnic table we ate in the car with a view of the river. It was still lovely. One of the things I like most when we head South or East is the Spanish Moss that hangs from the trees. It's haunting and beautiful.
