No More Test & Tune. 7.50 Class Time

We headed out to HMP with Fresco’s turbo truck for his first night in the 7.50 class… and NOTHING went smooth. During test & tune, Fresco had a mix-up at the line and the truck only managed a 7.80, then an 8.00 in the 1/8. On top of that, our generator took a crap, we ended up with dirty E85, and at one point we seriously questioned if we should even enter the class. We decided to send it anyway… and that’s when everything turned around. Fresco laid down a 7.53 and won the first round. The whole crew was hyped and we thought we were finally rolling. But in the second round, Fresco staged too deep trying to cut a light… and RED LIT. Just like that, we were loading back onto the trailer. Overall, it was a solid learning experience for Fresco, and honestly a good night. We made it home in one piece without ever having to wrench on the truck.
