IDO - The Cursed Well (OST) - Track 02 - Teahouse Nostalgia music by: Takoyaki IDO - The Cursed Well is a horror game about two sisters running a teahouse in Meiji Japan. Once, the teahouse was close to a vibrant and busy route, but now the area is desolated. Everyone avoids the area, because they are scared of the cursed well close by. One day, the older sister, Izumi, gets sick. It is up to the younger sister, Suiko, to save her. Then, Suiko hears a tempting voice from the well, telling her that her sister can be safed - but only, if she drinks the water from the cursed well. IDO - The Cursed Well was made within 7 days as part of Scream Jam 2025. I contributed the story, scenario and music. Therefore, I aimed to create a soundtrack that is based on traditional japanese music and instruments to stay as fateful to the setting as possible. But also, I wanted to give the soundtrack a tragic and sad note - foreshadowing that the real horror in IDO is the tragic fate of both sisters, Izumi and Suiko. Play IDO - The Cursed Well on itch.
