Sabrina Gullino Valenzuela Negro Daughter of Edgar Tulio Valenzuela and Raquel Carolina Ángela Negro. Her father studied law at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), was active in the Peronist Youth (JP), the Peronist Revolutionary Action (ARP), and years later joined the Montoneros organization. In 1972, he was arrested and taken to Rawson Prison, where he became second-in-command of his organization after his escape on August 15 of that year. He was released under the amnesty of May 25, 1973, joined the organizational work of the Peronist Workers' Youth (JTP) in Morón, and became head of the Montoneros' Rosario Column. After March 24, 1976, he went into exile with Raquel, his second wife, a teacher and activist in the same organization, and Sebastián, Raquel's son from a previous relationship. They returned to Argentina in December 1977, were kidnapped on January 2, 1978, in the city of Mar del Plata, and taken to the clandestine detention center (CCD) “Quinta de Funes,” located near the city of Rosario, in the province of Santa Fe. Raquel was pregnant with twins. At the CCD, the repressors hatched Operation Mexico, whose objective was for Tulio to facilitate the infiltration of the organization and the assassination of Firmenich and other leaders who were in Mexico. They pretended to collaborate with the repressors and denounced them in Mexico and Europe, generating an international scandal, which led to their capture by the Mexican government. Despite this, Tucho was demoted within his organization. A few months later, he re-entered Argentina, his fate unknown. Meanwhile, in an operation coordinated by personnel from Intelligence Detachment 121, Raquel was admitted to the Military Hospital of Paraná as the niece of the then-head of the Second Army Corps, Leopoldo Fortunato Galtieri, under the name María Amarilla. There, she gave birth to the twins between March 3 and 4, 1978, and was later murdered by her captors. To this day, Raquel and Tulio remain disappeared. Sabrina is one of the twins. According to the judicial investigation, the day after her birth, she and her twin brother were transferred to the Private Pediatric Institute of Paraná due to health complications and admitted as “López, Soledad” and “López, NN.” Both were discharged from the hospital on March 27, 1978. Sabrina was then taken to the Rosario Orphanage and adopted by Raúl Gullino and Susana Scola, a married couple living in Villa Ramallo, Buenos Aires Province. Her identity was restored on December 20, 2008. She testified in the Guerrieri I and II cases regarding the disappearance of her parents, and is a plaintiff in the case concerning the Military Hospital of Paraná, regarding the theft of her identity. Currently, she holds a degree in Social Communication from the National University of Rosario (UNR) and works as an illustrator. She works in the communications department of the Rosario branch of the Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo and is an activist with the Children for Identity and Justice Against Forgetting and Silence (H.I.J.O.S.) organization, Rosario chapter. She continues to search for her twin brother.
