This time, we camped by the pond with Roma, and brought our new pizza oven with us. We made pizza outside, and it came out exactly how we wanted — crispy, fresh, and so good. There is something different about eating fresh pizza while camping. It feels simple, but also kind of special. We already know this pizza oven is coming with us on more summer trips. In the morning, we made a Turkish-style breakfast with cottage cheese and avocado toast. It was slow, fresh, and just a really nice way to start the day by the water. We also played Heads Up for the first time at camp. Just a simple game, a lot of laughing, and a nice way to disconnect for a while.
