Pricing for the Terrain starts at $24,995 for the SL model; with the top-of-the-line Denali going for $39,300. The SLT model seen here starts at $31,400. Styling elements upfront include: a new grille, c-shaped headlights, and a sculpted hood. Under the hood the 2018 GMC Terrain is powered by a 1.5 liter turbocharged Ecotec 4-cylinder engine that makes 170 horsepower and 203 lb-ft. of torque. Thankfully engine upgrades are possible with the 2.0 liter engine that makes 252 horsepower or a 1.6 liter Diesel 4-cylinder. The gas powered engines get a 9-speed automatic transmission.
