Review of Real Chess Training by Noël Studer

In this video, I review Real Chess Training by GM Noël Studer. Every Monday, you get an email with six positions, spend 45 minutes analyzing them like a real game, and then watch a 35-minute solution video where Noël walks through each position. Real Chess Training costs $25 per month or $200 a year. That's roughly $6 a week for 80 minutes of training with a grandmaster (based on a monthly subscription). What's in this video: ▪ What actually arrives on Monday — the PDF with the six positions, and the solution video ▪ TIPS, Noël's analysis process (Threats, Ideas, Plans, Safety), compared with the Steps Method search and solving strategy: Orientation, Calculation/Evaluation, Verification. ▪ Examples of the Verification step, where club players go wrong: a bias toward safe moves, assuming forced moves by the opponent, and overlooking the counterattack ▪ How difficult the exercises really are — I'm a National Master and FIDE Candidate Master, and I score about 4 out of 6 when I make a real effort Who it's for: players rated 1500-2000 Chess.com Rapid/FIDE. No hints, real time pressure, and some weeks you won't like your score. That's the point — it's about building analysis skills and learning the process, not getting six out of six. Not sponsored and no affiliate link — I pay for this myself, and I'm just sharing the tools I like for chess improvement. I love this training program, and want you to know about it! 🔗 Real Chess Training: https://nextlevelchess.kit.com/produc... 🔗 My Chessable courses: https://www.chessable.com/author/HanS... 🔗 Fix Your Online Opening Mistakes (free): https://hanschut.pythonanywhere.com/ #chess #chessimprovement #chesstraining #calculation #noelstuder #chessanalysis
