Tegu Caging: the Bigger the Better!

Tegus are big lizards and require lots of space to roam and explore! Remember bigger is always better, when it comes to adult enclosure size. Lets talk about the key points of how to house these amazing creatures. We cover topics like hides, platforms and decor to put in the enclosure! We also talk about the different setups for hatchling, juvenile and adult enclosures. During this video we touched briefly on this topic but I wanted to provide more information. Black and white / Red Tegus are from tropical habitats which is a humid environment. Repti-bark and soil (reptile) is the best thing to use!
