The floor gets poured in 24 hours; time to get a move on.
We have so much to do: geotextile membrane to lay, recycled expanded glass insulation to shovel, a hybrid insulation buildup to create. One that's down, the reinforced mesh and underfloor heating can go down which means the shuttering can go up ready for the floor to be cast. If you want to get something done quickly, there's nothing like an impossible deadline to help dig into the midnight candle. The floor is a hybrid system, there's no plastic membrane trapping moisture into the wall. I'm excited to see how it works as the walls are clearly damp at their base.
