The Russian military recently launched attacks on a defense industry enterprise in Kyiv, Ukraine. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, this facility produces up to a thousand drones per month, along with crucial components such as aircraft bodies, electronics, navigation equipment, optics, and batteries. The attacks also targeted an assembly and storage facility southwest of Kyiv. Here, specialists from a US-Ukrainian joint venture are involved in the production of various drones, including attack models like the AQ-400 Scythe and AQ-100 Bayonet, as well as the RQ-100 Scout reconnaissance aircraft. According to local authorities, fires broke out in three districts of Kyiv, damaging a warehouse, ten cars and a truck in a parking lot in the Desnyansky district, and a building in the Solomensky district. Amidst ongoing fighting, Russia and Ukraine reacted on July 25th to Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's proposal to "freeze the conflict." This proposal came after a meeting between Tokayev and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Omsk. The Kazakh leader stated that he had received numerous signals from both Europe and the United States regarding the conflict. However, Ukraine rejected these statements, asserting that this was not Kyiv's position and that the information originated from Russia. For its part, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov affirmed that Russia had not changed its stance on the conditions for ending the conflict. Peskov emphasized that Russia had publicly stated these conditions two years ago and they remain "clear and consistent."
