Swedish trains part 97 - Saltsjöbanan

Recorded on the 27th of December 2024 at Saltsjöbanan light rail in Nacka, just east of Stockholm. Saltsjöbanan has been closed for construction since the 1st of January 2023, and on the 15th of December 2024 parts of it opened up for service again. Trains are now operating between Saltsjöbaden and Saltsjö-Järla, and between Igelboda and Solsidan as a shuttle service. The construction that has been done includes new stations with double platforms in Fisksätra and Tattby. When the construction of the new terminal in Slussen will be done in 2028, the trains will go all the way to that station just like they used to do. New, modern trains are planned to enter service then as well. The trains operating now on Saltsjöbanan are called C10 and C11, and are rebuilt metro train units from the 1970's.
