With a background in Interior Design and Photography, she furthered her education at prestigious institutions including the University of Nicosia, Michigan State University, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, and Harvard Extension School. Recently, she has also taken an academic interest in Archaeology and History. Georgiou's work has earned international acclaim. She was a finalist in the Sony World Photography Awards in both 2023 and 2024 and received recognition in multiple European Parliament photography competitions. Notably, she won the “Young vs Old” category in 2018 and “My City” in 2017. In 2024, she secured first place representing Cyprus in the "Inspired by Europe" contest.
