Using CAT in 3ds Max - Part 7 - Controlling Limb Animation
In this 3ds Max tutorial, you set up the arm limbs of a CAT rig to follow a prop in the form of a handgun. In this Part 2 movie, you animate the CAT rig and in particular the arms by manipulating the handgun. Later in the animation, you release one hand from its prop parent so that it is free to do something else.
