2026 Acura ADX A-Spec Review – The Best Affordable Luxury SUV?

Today we’re checking out the all-new 2026 Acura ADX A-Spec, Acura’s brand-new compact luxury SUV. Think of it as the HR-V’s more premium and more refined sibling — except Acura gave it better materials, better tech, and a way more athletic look. In this video, I walk through the exterior design, the red A-Spec interior, cargo space, features, and what surprised me the most while driving it. Under the hood is the familiar 1.5L turbo making 190 horsepower paired to a CVT, and honestly… it’s better than you’d expect. Smooth, fuel-efficient, and still a little fun in sport mode with the paddle shifters doing their simulated “shifts.” Acura also gave this thing great steering feel and a chassis that feels more dialed-in than the HR-V. This specific A-Spec with the panoramic roof, red interior, heated/ventilated seats, and all the gloss-black exterior accents comes in just over $44K. Base models start around $37K, which makes it a pretty interesting value in the compact luxury segment. If you were shopping in this price range, what else would you cross-shop? Maybe the Lexus UX? Mazda CX-30 Turbo? Buick Envista Avenir? Volvo XC40? I’m curious what you think stacks up best against the ADX. Drop your thoughts in the comments!
