In this discussion, he explains why and answers numerous questions from online viewers about breathing, lumbar and spinal pathologies, discopathy, and poor posture. He wrote this incredibly true statement, which we use to begin this interview: "Our society suffers from a genuine lack of awareness about our bodies." Too often, we can harm ourselves while thinking we're doing ourselves good. But how did we get to this point? Dominique Martin initially practiced as a physiotherapist from 1972. He quickly recognized the limitations of the scope and techniques of physiotherapy at the time. He then trained in osteopathy, which he began practicing in 1982. At the time, this profession was not as widely recognized as it is today and was even practiced in some regions. He opened a training center for postural practice. He is the author of two reference books on the subject. A lecturer, trainer, and practitioner of Iyengar Yoga, he has also trained yoga teachers in his approach.
