Joseph's Brothers and Satan's Insults Joseph's dream would ignite a fire of jealousy within his brothers and ignite a great trial. His father, Jacob (peace be upon him), warned him to protect him from his brothers. However, Satan would whisper in his brothers' hearts, leading them to attempt to kill their own brother. In this chapter: 🔹 Jacob's fatherly advice to his son: "O my son, do not tell your dream to your brothers..." This warning is a prime example of a father's intuitive understanding of his children and their guidance. 🔹 The connection with the story of Satan and Adam: Joseph's brothers made an excuse similar to Satan's excuse for not prostrating to Adam: "Since we are great and powerful, will prophethood come to Joseph?" 🔹 The psychology of the brothers and their misperceptions: They interpreted their father's love for Joseph from their own perspective, but never directly asked him about it… Here we will clearly see how misperceptions transformed into hatred. 🔹 One of the greatest deceptions in history: "First, let's get rid of Joseph, then we'll become good people!"
