Southern Steam ~ "Childhood Dreams" (Part 4)
Part 4 of Southern Steam ~ "Childhood Dreams". The narrow-gauge railway at Amberley Chalk Pits Museum (now known today as Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre), with 1918-built Bagnall 0-4-0ST No. 2067 "Peter" hauling logs, as well as pulling passenger trains alongside 1905-built 2-4-0T No. 1781 "Polar Bear". Volunteer Chas Thomas provides the viewers a lot of information about the history of narrow-gauge railways. Whilst many industrial diesel and petrol locomotives are shown in this film, "Peter" makes it up for it by concluding this episode hauling a rake of tipper wagons. NOTE: "Southern Steam" is copyright of Parkside Production.
