The Man who Dwarfed the Mountains
Winner of the National Film Award, top awards at Prague, Boulder and Delhi, and screened at over twenty film festivals across Bangalore, Calcutta, Golmag, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Pokhara, Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram, the story of the first modern Indian environmentalist - Chandi Prasad Bhatt. Directed by Ruchi Shrivastava and Sumit Khanna | 2015 Producer and Commissioning Editor: Rajiv Mehrotra Ruchi Shrivastava has worked on multiple non-fiction formats for over a decade and runs Greed Goddess Media. Sumit Khanna started his career working as an assistant to directors Aziz Mirza, Saeed Mirza and Meghna Gulzar on various feature films and documentaries. He made his first independent documentary, for PSBT, on the lives of assistant directors in the Mumbai film industry. Since then, he has made numerous documentaries, corporate films and promos for feature films. He was associate producer on the acclaimed film Parzania. His film Mere Desh ki Dharti won the National Award and Movement, A World, A Cinema - the Indian New Wave, screened at the National Museum of Indian Cinema. Rajiv Mehrotra is the founding Managing Trustee and Commissioning Editor of PSBT - his films have won more than 300 awards worldwide, including 32 in 31 years from the President of India. His nine books are available in 50 languages and editions.
