JOE STRUMMER VERY RARE LOST INTERVIEW 2001
#JoeStrummer #Punk #TheClash On December 22, 2002, the unique Joe Strummer left us. To remember his spirit, I decided to upload this very rare document that previously was only in my possession, an interview of Joe made in 2001 by my late friend Nikola "Hellboy" Acin. This interview finds Joe in a much better mood than the last one, (see the channel Joe Strummer playlist) as by then he was touring with the Mescaleros and playing rock'n'roll again. It has never been heard before, outside of Nikola, Julien Temple and myself. Some soundbites may have been used in Julien Temple movie "The Future is Unwritten". I hope you enjoy it, and you keep the spirit of Punk going. We miss people like Nikola and Joe. David F JOE STRUMMER 002: THE MESCALEROS YEARS is available September 16th, 2022.
