Visite d'un jardin exceptionnel en Vendée - Caroline au jardin de William Christie

On a sunny day, to celebrate my birthday, I had the pleasure of discovering the William Christie Garden. This magnificent garden, located in Thiré, Vendée, is a remarkable garden, listed as a Historic Monument, and a true work of landscape art created by the Franco-American conductor William Christie. I'll take you on a stroll through a series of spaces inspired by the French and Italian Baroque gardens of the 17th and 18th centuries. I'm only showing you a small part of the 12 hectares of greenery. In terms of style, there's something for everyone; the succession of interlocking spaces takes us to boxwood parterres, yew and hornbeam hedges, open-air theaters, a rose garden, a reflecting pool, a vegetable garden, and an orchard. It was a real pleasure to stroll through it. For music lovers, the garden is also a vibrant cultural center, hosting the annual "In the Gardens of William Christie" festival, combining baroque music and nature.
