I found this lens at a camera store in Tokyo for 2000 yen. It was in excellent condition, but unfortunately, the AF was broken. While not quite as impressive, this D lens came in close with a score of 30 points. Furthermore, if we narrow it down to one factor—resolution—this D lens scores 25 points, compared to the G lens's 20 points. It's the clear winner among the 10 60mm lenses in terms of resolution. Incidentally, the latest macro lens released in 2020, the Canon RF85mmF2, scored 26 points for resolution. It's no wonder it's been on the market for over 30 years. This one's got no choice but to be repaired.
