Desert Island Survival with My Dog | Building a Shelter from Trash & Catching Seafood My dog Keo and I spent another adventure surviving on a remote desert island. Using only materials we found washed ashore, including trash and driftwood, we built a simple shelter to protect ourselves from the weather. To find food, we explored the island during low tide and collected wild seafood such as crabs, shellfish, sea snails, and sea cucumbers. I also caught fish and cooked fresh seafood over a fire on the island.
