Floating cafe cuts generator usage using solar

The River Exe is an award-winning restaurant in the estuary of the River Exe in Exmore, Devon. They heavily relied on a large diesel generator for all their power. Paul the owner could never go far away as at any moment the generator could go wrong and he'd have to go fix it so food didn't go bad or the customers were without power. So he got in contact with Steve from Callidus in Newton Abbot as well as Exeter University for help. He now has a solar array on the roof and the generator stays off for large periods of the day due to the energy stored in the lithium batteries.
