Exploration - Coraline (Solo Piano Cover)

A transcription of the theme "Exploration" from the Coraline soundtrack. This film is one of my favourite pieces of stop motion animation, and Bruno Coulais' musical score drives the film's world and character building in such an intimate way. This particular song features a two layers of harp melody, which together create a groovy rhythmical texture, and which turns out to be quite difficult counterpoint on piano! It took more than a few takes... and several cups of coffee well into the night.
