Getting SILAGE FERMENTER ready for SILAGE HARVEST | Hof Bergmann | Farming Simulator 22 | Episode 48

Today we are at Hof Bergmann and we have to get ready for grass silage harvest. We started by jumping into Gator and inspecting two grass fields we have to mow. After that was done, we returned back to the farm and parked the Gator and we decided the grass is ready for mowing. So we jumped into John Deere 6195M and detached the front weight and attached the Krone EasyCut F360CV on the front and Krone EasyCut B1000CV Collect on the back. Then we headed to the first grass field, where we unloaded the mowers and set them up for the swath mowing. After that was done, we started mowing grass using the GPS and doing the headland first and then ups and downs until we got the whole field done. Then we went to the second field where we did everything the same and then we returned back to the farm. We washed the tractor and mowers and then parked them in the sheds. When that was done it was time to get the FixFerm silage fermenter ready, so we jumped into the Sprinter. Then we attached the trailer to it and we headed to the local dealer to buy some stuff. We ended up buying three IBC tanks of FixFerm Active which is used in silage fermenters to speed up the fermentation process. We loaded them into the van and trailer and then we transported them to the silage fermenter. Then we went and got the Weidemann 1140 that we used to unload FixFerm Active from the van and trailer into the silage fermenter. When that was done, we washed the loader, van, and trailer and parked them. The last job we had to do for today was to test the grass we mowed. So we jumped into the Gator and got the shovel in the back and we headed to the first grass field. We loaded a couple of shove loads of grass in the bed of the Gator and then we headed to the silage fermenter. We tested the grass and then we unloaded it into the silage fermenter. After that was done, we headed to the second field and got also the sample of the grass from there. Then we transported it to the silage fermenter where we tested it out and unloaded it into the silage fermenter. When we finished with that we washed the Gator and parked it and then we headed inside the house to take a lunch break.
