A wondrous character with a high hat and a long beard is walking through the woods, mumbling to himself. He carries an enormous bunch of twigs on his back. When he picks a twig up off the ground he feels it gently, inspects it thoroughly and then laughs like a child! He puts the twig safely in his pocket. "I'll write that down this evening," he mumbles. The Fairytale Collector is a wondrous character from the exciting book of the same name, written by the Dutch princess Laurentien and author of children's books Paul van Loon, which was published in 2014 in cooperation with Efteling.
