Liga ACB: Magia Huesca - Cai Zaragoza 17-12-1988 (Parte 3/3)

This is a match from Round 10 of the Serie A-1 in the first phase of the 1988/89 ACB Basketball League regular season, played at the Parque Pavilion in Huesca. The commentary is from the Radio Heraldo broadcast, which, due to the Aragonese derby, provided a joint broadcast with commentators from both cities: José Antonio Martín "Petón" and José Luis Trallero for Huesca, and Salvador Asensio for Zaragoza. The Huesca commentators were considerably more correct and impartial. Both Aragonese teams were in the upper-middle part of the standings, with Huesca having 5 wins and 4 losses, and Zaragoza 6 wins and 3 losses. The Peñas team, much more modest, was becoming the revelation of the season, a status they would confirm a few weeks later with victories against Real Madrid and Barcelona. Meanwhile, the Zaragoza team, if not a title contender, was certainly a favorite to join Joventut in the second tier of top teams. Playing for the green-and-white squad from Alto Aragón, coached by Iñaki Iriarte, were Eduardo Sabater, Alberto Alocén, Brian Jackson, Granger Hall, Joan Pagés, David Solé, Juan Antonio Hernández, and Antón Soler. For the Zaragoza team, coached by Ranko Zeravica, the players were Pepe Arcega, Leon Wood, Fernando Arcega, Paco Zapata, Mel Turpin, Indio Díaz, Quique Andreu, Santi Aldama, and Joaquín Ruiz Lorente.
