How is Blockade played? The rules are simple: #blockade. Move Rules: On each player's turn, they make two successive turns. 1. Move their piece to one of the adjacent squares within their square. The piece can only be moved one unit vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. PIECES CANNOT BE MOVED TO AN OCCUPIED SQUARE, OUTSIDE THE PLAYING AREA, OR TO AN OPPONENT'S SQUARE. 2. Use one of the obstacles to enclose a square on the playing area that has no other piece and has not been previously occupied. The obstacles in the game are shared by two players. The move rule is to move their piece in the order of movement, then place an obstacle. There are no moves to squares blocked by obstacles.
