Neo Geo AES Joystick Swap | My attempt creating a drop-in replacement

In today’s video I attempt to replace the original joystick inside a Neo Geo AES control stick with a Seimitsu LS-33. My goal was to try to create a drop-in replacement which would not require any modifications to the original control stick’s casing. There are currently no joysticks on the market that will fit an unmodified Neo Geo control stick. Note: Many speculate the original joystick was a Seimitsu LS-30 (discontinued) so this mod may or may not be much of an upgrade. It was more of a fun proof of concept project. However It is nice to know that if your original stick did have a catastrophic failure you could replace it with something close or possibly better.
