We say those are first-order equations. You solve linear equations by getting the variable by itself on one side. But how about higher order equations, where there is an exponent of 2 or greater on the variable? How do we solve those equations? In this video, we'll do a quick introduction about the 3 main methods of solving quadratic equations: 1. Solving using the square root (radical) 2. Solving by factoring 3. Solving using the quadratic formula Don't worry if this seems like a lot—this is just an intro! There will be more videos going into more detail about each of these methods.
