Grandes Inversores de la Historia: John Templeton - Value School

Sir John Templeton has not only gone down in history as one of the greatest investors of all time, but also as the first major asset manager to explore the world's emerging markets. Sir John Templeton was, by all accounts, an extraordinary investor who broke away from conventional rules. In 1968, he moved his operations to the Caribbean, specifically to Lyford Cay, a residential area in the Bahamas. He did so to pay less taxes but also to escape the hustle and bustle of Wall Street. Thus, during his nearly 40-year career as a professional asset manager, John Templeton achieved an average annual return of 14.5%. This means that $10,000 invested in his fund in 1954 would have grown into $2 million by 1992. In this video, we tell you who John Templeton was and the keys to his investment model.
