Baby flying-fox in care daily life clips: this is Guinness being gorgeous

Daily life clips of Guinness, a Black Flying-Fox pup who was found hanging low to the ground 6 weeks ago. He had an initial rocky time in care, trying to decide over a few days whether he was going to live or die. He came good then for a while we thought he might have been blind. He sniffed for his bottle but didn't appear to be able to track it or locate it by sight. He didn't make eye contact with either of us and he didn't appear to have a menace or startle reflex. He would always seem surprised when I picked him up unless he heard me coming. I got an ophthalmologist appointment who said the was something wrong with one of his eyes with some vitreous humour leakage and what looked like an unstable lens. However since she dilated his pupils and did an ultrasound, he has been so vastly improved that it's obvious that he can see. He has become so interactive and he looks into our eyes now and tracks us across the room, that I wonder how we could have thought he was blind. Maybe what she did somehow jiggled his lens into place and his eyesight is better, I don't know. All I know is that I think he's able to go to creche and on to release, and for a while it wasn't certain. In this video Maggie and Guinness have some fun around feed time. (don't mention Maggie's double chins though) Guinness is trying to take over Hippo's talent for being like a squeaky toy when massaged and petted.
