I'm using my TRX-4 Sport as a basis for some mods that I thought about. This video explains the basics of Anti-Squat and Anti-Dive and how you can apply them to a TRX4. I used my modified Sport but this can be done on a stock vehicle too but you would need to purchase a link mount set (https://wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/293927/ - Non-affiliate link) or get alloy / brass link mounts and use your spare plastic ones. Shock keys are easily found on Amazon or eBay for less than £5 / $6 and spare M3 bolts and a soldering iron, hex drivers and a sharp knife are assumed to be in your RC toolbox. I will be testing this in anger at the weekend, but so far it's been up some rocky quarries and had a lot of serious tumbles that have proved both the temporary and permanent way of attaching the rear links survives a hefty crash or three. The main aim is to get the front end to squat down and push the front tyres into the ground. This massively helps with traction and weight balance when trying to get up something steep. It also helps keep the truck low and level when you decide to go up something fast. Because the mod will affect how the suspension reacts on medium to hard acceleration, it's also great in that it doesn't affect low-speed crawling. So you get almost the best of both worlds with the only compromise of having to run a slightly stiffer spring rate.
