GREYHOUND SCENICRUISER WORK CONTINUES SLOWLY

I am helping and volunteering my time to help Saldanha and Valeria get their bus to Brazil. It's no easy task. Time is running out, with limited daylight and weather conditions adding to the challenge. It's my understanding they need to sell their Volkswagen bus to help fund this project? The shift solenoid is on its way from Brazil because they want $1100 USD for one here. It's like a $30 part down there. So, in the meantime, he's waiting on that. 25days away. I came unprepared on this trip. I forgot to bring supplies to work on the electrical, I assumed he had stuff. Unfortunately tools, supplies and time are limited. I did not wire in the new alternator, because we need a multimeter and wire and connectors. There are some things backwards that need correction before wiring new alternator. Snow and cold weather have arrived. I'm not sure if I will be able to make another trip this year. With Christmas coming, I am kinda busy for the holidays. I am willing to completely go through the suspension and brakes on the bus to make it safe, but we don't have any parts or supplies, so there is really no reason to take it apart. So we just aired up the tires and corrected small things. As soon as I am able, I will do an update. I'm sure Saldanha will be continuing work on the bus.
