BMW M3 E30 Race Car w/ 380hp S50B32 Straight-6 Engine in action at Monza Circuit!

This video is fully dedicated to a marvellous BMW M3 E30 race car I recorded at Monza Circuit during a Pistenclub track day last week. The car was originally built in Austria by Fink Motorsport and was then fielded in the Youngtimer class of the Austrian Histocup championship, winning two times the title in its class. Over the years this E30 was further developed with latest electronics and since 2015 it's in the hands of Swiss team R Ackermann Motorsport. This E30 from 1987 shares much of the technology which made the M3 DTM a winning weapon 30 years ago but it also features modern components and improvements. The original BMW S14 4-cylinder engine has been replaced with the one we found on the M3 E36: a S50B32 straight-6 engine, tuned and modified to gain some extra power (around 380 bhp). The original manual gearbox has been replaced with a Drenth DG400 6-speed sequential. Brakes are from AP Racing and wheels are BBS WTCC-style with centerlock system.
