Thanks to the upgrades he got after the battle with Lord Obsidian, Rush has gone from household pet to heroic sidekick! Mega Man can’t wait to team up with his best bud, but soon gets frustrated by Rush’s behavior in the field. He’s easily distracted and seems to avoid superheroics all together! Suna tells her brother that Rush must find his own path. No one can force it. Mega Man doesn’t understand why Rush wouldn’t relish being a hero until he spies Rush watching news footage of Lord Obsidian: the pup is just afraid! With Suna’s reluctant help, Mega Man stages an “attack” by a fake Robot Master called "Junk Man." While engrossed in building their training dummy, however, the kids fail to notice an actual emergency downtown— the return of Wave Man— without Mega Man to deal with it! Undeterred, Rush leaps into action alone, rescuing citizens from Wave Man’s deluge and taking down the Robot Master single-pawedly! By the time Aki and Suna finish constructing Junk Man, Rush has already saved the day! Mega Man realizes that Suna was right: Rush faced his fear on his own terms and proved himself well-suited to the challenges of superheroism! // Sgt. At the Lighthouse, Dr. Light works with Aki and Suna to fortify his lab’s defenses with a new force-field system called SWISH. Aki wants to explore the lab, but it’s strictly off-limits. Taking this as a lack of trust on his dad’s part, Aki leaves to blow off steam as Mega Man… and that’s when Night's #2 (NAMAGEM) attacks! Beset by a variety of replicated powers, Mega Man is shocked that they’re all coming from one robot! His nameless nemesis (NAMAGEM) has even more on-board powers than Mega Man! The baddie gets the upper hand and could destroy our hero— until his whole system short-circuits from overuse! "No Name" (NAMAGEM) is clearly in pain yet refuses Mega Man’s empathetic offer to help. The baddie escapes, angry, leaving Mega Man with more questions about his foe. While "No Name" (NAMAGEM) returns to the Maltrix and a very displeased Sgt.
