O INFERNO, a origem da doutrina

In this first video of the series “Hell — The Tool of the Religious System,” we begin with the foundation of the doctrine. The study originated from a sincere question from a subscriber: “Didn’t Jesus descend into hell and take the keys of death?” From this question, we examine the image that religious tradition has placed in people's minds: Jesus descending into a fiery hell, full of demons, to take keys from Satan's hand. But does the text really teach this? In this video, we show that the word “hell” has become a kind of umbrella word in translations, mixing different terms and contexts such as Sheol, Hades, Gehenna, grave, abyss, Tartarus, and lake of fire. We also address the idea of a living soul in Genesis 2:7, showing that man did not receive an “immortal soul” within the body, but became a living soul when he received the breath of life. The study also addresses the difference between earthly life and eternal life, showing that eternal life is not a natural property of the soul, but a gift from God in Christ. We further examine texts such as Acts 2, Psalm 16, Revelation 1:18, Hebrews 2:14, Hosea 13:14, and 1 Corinthians 15, showing that the apostolic message was not about Jesus fighting demons in hell, but about Christ overcoming death, sin, and the power of the Law. Jesus did not descend into medieval hell. He entered death and emerged victorious. The keys were not in the devil's hand. Authority always belonged to Christ. 📌 In Part 2, we will delve even deeper into the study and examine Hades, the grave, the abyss, Jonah in the belly of the fish, Luke 16, Gehenna, the Valley of Hinnom, Isaiah 66, Mark 9, Jude 1:7, and Jeremiah 17. Because much of what religion called hell was, in fact, language of death, the grave, parable, historical judgment, and destruction.
