Nijmegen, Netherlands | Walking in the oldest city of the Netherlands

Welcome to Nijmegen, a beautiful city located in the eastern part of the Netherlands. Nijmegen is the oldest city in the Netherlands and the largest city in the Dutch province of Gelderland. I began the walk at the Valkhof Park, a picturesque green oasis in the heart of the city. From there, I made my way through the bustling city center, passing by the Grote Markt and strolling down Molenstraat and Nassausingel. Then I crossed the Kronenburgerpark, a charming park with beautiful views of the city, and took a glimpse of the Red Light Street. The walk ends along the scenic boulevard of the Waal river with views of the Waalburg Bridge (a historic bridge with ties to World War II) and the Snelbinder (a railway bridge).
