Late June at Raven's Cry: What's Growing and Who All is Getting a Share

Come walk the place with us in late June. Everyone gets a share around here, the chickens, the groundhog, the beetles, the folks we donate to, and hopefully enough left for us too. Tim walk throughs everything growing right now: blueberries and huckleberries, asparagus past its first cut, the candy roaster squash bed, 24 tomato plants, two rows of squash we'll be donating plenty of, corn and climbing beans, cucumbers (groundhog damage and all), okra, and the apple trees heading into a lean year. Plus daily beetle vacuuming for the chickens and an ongoing battle with gallant soldier weeds, which take over fast if you don't stay ahead of them. 0:00 Intro 0:05 Blueberries & huckleberry 0:18 Asparagus & beetles 0:51 Lasagna bed 1:29 Tomatoes 1:51 Squash 2:16 Hickory King corn 2:42 Gallant soldier weeds 3:51 Cucumbers & groundhog 4:45 Okra patch 5:42 Hog wire trellis 6:14 Pole beans 7:09 Apple trees Content by Timothy Wooton & Videoing, Pictures and Editing done by Sharyl Wooton 2026 License Terms: Video and Pictures are is free to share, remix, republish, and build upon under the Creative Commons - Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International.
