This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. The future is a landscape of possibility. The most powerful idea in futures studies is the act of deciding to engage it, thereby gardening change. By considering "futures" as a plural and not a singular, we can enlist our will and optimism to create better scenarios. Stuart is the Director of the Situation Lab, a foresight/design prof at OCAD University, and Research Fellow of The Long Now Foundation.
